Contest-Entry: I'll show you a new Dance

This is my humble entry for Decora-Chan 's Friendship. It's her OC Yuma with my OC Chantrea from "Night Soldiers".
Here's the story I thought of while drawing this picture (playing around 1850~):

Clara looked up to her grandmother. Chantrea patted the shoulder of her teenage granddaughter like she did when Clara was a small child.
The old vampire sat down in her armchair and Clara sat on the sofa next to her.
"I was a passionate dancer when I was at your age. I danced on more balls than I can remember. But I had to be careful. Members of the other clans were out at nights too, and if they had seen me, they would kill me right away.
On one occasion I sensed another one of our kind. I saw his pale face and his long blond braid and was half enchanted, half afraid. I sensed a great power of him, but I feared he would be of another clan, that he would kill me if he noticed me.
I tried to hide and watch him from the distance, but suddenly he stood behind me. He took my hand and we danced. He noticed my fear and told me that he was not of any clan, that their war was not his business, and so I wasn't afraid anymore.
Then he offered me to show me a new dance he learned in America. He took me out to the graveyard and we danced under the full moon light. The dance was fast and daring, at least compared to ours. We danced all through the night and ended up by morning in each others arms in a crypt, hiding from the light, talking. When the evening came we went out and hunted together. Afterwards we were drunk from the fresh blood, and started to drink each others blood, and kiss each other.
From this day on we lived for seven happy years together, hiding from my family and clan, from the other clans too. We did not marry, we were afraid to be spotted. But we managed to have two children and awaited a third one when we were finally found. Luckily for me it was my own clan, but your grandfather had to flee. Even yet I don't know where he lives, if he's still alive.
My children and I were taken care of by my family, I took a new last name to hide that I was not married and just lived on, raising my children alone. "
The old women stopped and took a deep breath, "I would give almost anything if I could have one last dance with him."
